'N Sync star JC Chasez has revealed all about the diamond-studded dog tags he gave pal Tara Reid as a gift.
The couple have been romantically linked for months, and her new accessories raised eyebrows at the Billboard Music Awards on December 9th when the pair arrived together.

But Chasez insists they're just really good friends and the dog tags were a gift after she agreed to appear in his first solo video when he was let down by another actress.

He explains, "She did me the hugest favor because the day of my video, the girl who was supposed to play opposite me cancelled and I had four hours to find somebody to do the video."

"She rang me and I had been hanging out with her for a few weeks and I was like, 'I'm screwed. The person who was supposed to be playing opposite me cancelled - she got a photo shoot in Paris. I've got half a dozen agencies calling me with girls.'"

"And she was like, 'I'll save you all the hassle. I've never done a music video before. I'll do it.' Ever since then we've been palling around. She got a dog tag because she did the video and she's one of my guys."

In the promo for She's Blowin' Me Up, from the soundtrack of new movie Drumline, a prowling JC courts a colorful and punky Tara through a junkyard and in a diner.
