'N Sync's 'Simpsons' Episode To Air February 25 'N Sync members Lance Bass, J.C. Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Justin Timberlake will play themselves on an episode of The Simpsons titled "New Kids On The Blecch" airing February 25 at 8 p.m. ET on Fox. In the episode, boy-band impresario L.T. Smash recruits Bart along with fellow band members and friends Milhouse, Ralph, and Nelson. Just as the band finds success, Bart's sister Lisa discovers that Smash has ulterior motives for forming the group. Appearing on the longest-running prime-time animated series in the world (according to the Guiness Book of World Records) will undoubtedly be a unique experience for the group. Timberlake was recently asked about his most memorable experience with 'N Sync. "We've had so many great experiences," he replied, "but the experience that we've had, and the mileage that we've put on all over the world, and the memories--that's what we'll never forget." 'N Sync joins a long list of musicians who have been caricatured on The Simpsons -- including ex-Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, Sting, U2, Aerosmith, Sonic Youth, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bette Midler, David Crosby, the Ramones, James Taylor, and the Who. |
