'N Sync Readies 'No Strings Attached' On March 7, 'N Sync will release No Strings Attached, their sophomore album and debut release from Jive Records. The first single from the album, titled "Bye, Bye, Bye," will ship to radio today (Jan. 11) and is scheduled for radio adds on Jan. 17. The video for the single, directed by Wayne Isham, will debut on MTV's Making The Video on Jan. 24. Award-winning songwriter Diane Warren's contributions to No Strings Attached include the tracks "That's When I'll Stop Lovin' You" and "One In This World," while Richard Marx wrote and produced the song "Promises." Rami, the co-producer of Britney Spears's "Baby One More Time," and Kristian Lundin, co-producer of the Backstreet Boys' "Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)" and 'N Sync's "Tearin' Up My Heart," have also contributed to the album. 'N Sync will perform "Bye, Bye, Bye" on the American Music Awards on Jan. 17. The group will also take part in a tribute to Gloria Estefan, who will receive the Award of Merit at the ceremony. The award recognizes "outstan award recognizes "outstanding contributions to the musical entertainment of the American public." Previous Award of Merit-winners include Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson, among others. 'N Sync recently received a Grammy Award nomination for best pop collaboration with vocals for a track they did with Estefan titled "Music Of My Heart." 'N Sync will appear live from Atlanta on ABC's Good Morning America on Jan. 28. In addition, 'N Sync member Lance Bass will appear on an upcoming episode of television's 7th Heaven. He will reportedly be playing the role of Rick Palmer, a new boyfriend for the show's character Lucy Camden (Beverly Mitchell).
