'N Sync's Lance Bass 'Wants To Be A Millionaire' 'N Sync member Lance Bass will join such notables as Drew Carey, Dana Carvey, David Duchovny, Kathie Lee Gifford, Emeril Lagasse, Queen Latifah, Rosie O'Donnell, Ray Romano, and Vanessa Williams this week on the four celebrity editions of ABC's Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, which begin tonight (May 1). The celebrity guests will offer their final answers to host Regis Philbin and will donate their winnings to charitable causes. Bass will make his debut on the show on Thursday (May 4). Bass will play on behalf of Challenge For The Children -- 'N Sync founded Challenge For The Children in 1999 to offer financial support to children's programs and charities throughout the country. Bass tells LAUNCH that 'N Sync will reveal the plot to its upcoming feature film at a news conference at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in France on May 14 before returning to the U.S. to play basketball. "Actually, on our days off, we are working most of the time," Bass says. "Our first days off in May we're going to the Cannes Film Festival and we're actually announcing a movie -- a project we're going to be doing at Cannes. We like to do little sports events here and there, and I know we're doing our Second Annual Challenge For The Children basketball game in New York in July. That's going to be a lot of fun because we're just going to get a lot of our friends together and play basketball for charity." The Challenge For The Children II basketball game will take place on July 29. Last year's game raised more than $100,000 for the Arnold Palmer's Hospital for Women and Children and the Atlanta Hawks Foundation. |
