Shedaisy And 'N Sync Are Buddies The sister trio of Shedaisy was thrilled to discover its name in the liner notes of 'N Sync's new multiplatinum album, No Strings Attached. The group's name was specifically mentioned by group member Lance Bass, who surprised Shedaisy with the mention. LAUNCH spoke with Kristyn, Kassidy, and Kelsi Osborn about being thanked by Lance: "We didn't even know about that until some of our fans let us know: 'What's the connection with you and 'N Sync?' and we're, like, 'What?'" Kelsi said. "We had met Lance a few times he's a big country music fan," added Kassidy. According to the trio, they first met the guys of 'N Sync while they were in Nashville last October to perform their duet with Alabama, "God Must Have Spent A Little More Time On You," at the Country Music Association Awards. The two groups quickly built a friendship after a few initial conversations with Lance, as Shedaisy explains: "We had some conversations with him and we can kind of empathize with them coming from another popular boy group -- the kind of follow-up boy group -- so we all kind of bonded," Kristyn noted. "They were going through some really tough things at that time. He's a good person and I think it was a nice kind of cross-genre friendship, so we appreciated that mention." Shedaisy's new single, "I Will... But," was released today. |
